Dear Randy, et al.,
Sorry, but I have a big question that I know has probably been asked in many forms times before, and maybe the only answer is you don't have the time, but I think it'd improve your site for everybody if it were taken care of.
What I'm referring to is Reunion for MACs its "pieces" of a name, not showing up with the name, or in your global indexing.
The part which I'm discussing, I THINK, is a new part, I'd appreciate some advice as to what to do about it!
My maternal grandfather great-grandfather (AND...many other people in their family...) had "Aliases" - that is they were known by more than one name. Reunion has a place for this, it shows up on each of these people's individual pages, but one can't find these aliases with a global search in your system.
EX:
Ashton Michael CARROLL=Ashton CARROLL MOCLAIR
George Bruce CARROLL=George Brown MOCKLER
The second names for each don't register with your systems's global features!
Even Mary Louise CARROLL MOCLAIR, who didn't shorten this sometimes-hyphenated mess, show up on my own index, but doesn't appear in a global search for MOCLAIR only.
What can I do?
Thanks for your consideration reply,
Barb in Ohio
