I received an email from a woman who tested on fTDNA. She had an 8.75 cM FTDNA match with my Mom on chromosome 12 which I verified.

This lady also sent me her gedmatch number.

I checked gedmatch and this woman did not appear on Mom's match list.

When I did a one to one kit comparison, I saw that gedmatch shows only a 4.8 cM match on this chromosome. Gedmatch and FTDNA show different start and end points for this match.

Any idea what's happening here?
