Writing for records

I have a connection who gave me some information on writing for records on my paternal side (which comes from Provincia di Isernia). Instead of writing to the actual town she wrote to the Archivio di stato di Isernia - in English and got information in two months going back to the 1700's. This got me wondering if one could do the same thing for Roseto Valfortore. I did a search on Google and came up with an email address for the Archives office in Fogia - asfg@archivi.beniculturali.it - so I sent an email off to them asking if one would write to Fogia for Roseto Valfortore. I got an email back - in English - saying that I can write to Archivio di Stato di Foggia, 31/A G. Garibaldi Rd, for records of family coming from Roseto Valfortore - The director's name is Carolina Nardella - and it was written in perfect English so I would assume a request could be made in English. Thought I would share this bit of information with all of you.
