MARY ANN CHESSER was born about 1845 in Missouri. She died 16 Sept. 1890 in Collin County, Texas. From correspondence in our possession it appears that MARY ANN may have had brothers JOHN NEWTON CHESSER(who was living at Greenwood, Custer County, Colorado, as of 2 November 1890), and JAMES, and perhaps sisters SALLY BOX and ELIZABETH L. WILLIAMS; and that as of 2 Nov. 1890 ELIZABETH L. WILLIAMS was living at Sullivan P.O., Scott County, Arkansas, and that she had a grown son, ELMER, who was also living in Arkansas.

I am interested in the descendants of any of these siblings, and will gladly exchange information. I have some data on the descendants of MARY ANN CHESSER, from her husband's Civil War record, and subsequently from a
descendant. Also pictures.

MARY ANN CHESSER had married JAMES FLETCHER (FLETCH) HOOK in Polk County.
