Looking for information on John B Carpenter who married Rachel Long.. they had at least one child I know of: Ella E Carpenter who married Lafayette Charles Coates. They had at least one child that I know of... Orran Perry Coates Sr (b. 29 Aug 1882 - Indianapolis, IN, d. 13 Oct 1956 - Calaveras, CA) married Alma Amelia Pillichody (b. 25 Apr 1885, d. ABT 1928 - CA). They had at least 5 children: Orran P Coates Jr, Ruth Coates, Bob Coates, Walt Coates, Harry Coates.
