I am searching for a SAM BALDWIN in Chatham County who was a Baptist preacher, who we believe married an ATWATER. He also had another wife which I do not know her name. Anyway, SAM BALDWIN, had a Son named At, who never married and a Daughter named Bettie BALDWIN, Bettie b. 9 Oct 1834 married JOSEPH S. THOMPSON and she died on 8 June 1896. We know she did have a stepmother and the stepmother had one son named LUTHER BALDWIN and they lived in Chatham County, N.C. I would appreciate any information you can share with me on this line.
