Re: Gauthier Family Research
My great-grandfather is Alphonse Quesnel and his spouse was Agnès-Lumina Gauthier. On the Gauthier side I have hard time to go further, any clues? Thank you Richard Chausse http://richardchausse.com

Re: Gauthier Family Research - Great website
I just visit your website. It's great, lots of information.
In Albert Aime Quesnel book, this is what I found. Not a lot of information, but I will update the book from your website if you don't mind.
This is what I found.
Jean Baptiste Quesnel married to Catherine Prud'homme in Montreal. They had 2 children. Jean remarried to Jeanne Aubuchon and they had 9 children.
Jean Baptiste married Marie Helene Picard in Lachine. They had 10 children.
Jean Baptiste married to Marie Louise Groulx in St. Laurent. The had 10 children.
Marie Louise Quesnel married to Louis Prud'homme in Lachine. They had 9 children.
Joseph Quesnel married Julie Prud'homme in Chateauguay. No children listed.
Marie Antoinette Quesnel married to Francois Prud'homme in Chateauguay. They had 10 children.
The only Gauthier I have listed are Alphonse, Berthe, Gedeon, Gilles, Liliose, Mary, Marie Irene.
Does any of the info above help?

Re: Gauthier Family Research - Great website
Thank you for the compliment, I will try to improve it if I found little time. There is no problems to update your data with my website, its exactly the purpose of it.
On the other topic, I'm looking for a specific marriage for years now, If I can find this marriage my ascendant (male and female) tree would be complete for 10 generations. I'm looking for the parents of Joseph Gauthier. Supposely Jean-Baptiste Gauthier and Rose Bélanger. The only clue I have its the marriage of their son Joseph. He married Julie Laramée-Fissiau the november 20th, 1854 in Sainte-Sophie de la Corne in Terrebonne County. (North of Montreal in Québec). That's all that I know for 10 years now. Any clue will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you and good luck

Re: GAREAU Family Research
Hello Diane,
Felix and Delia are my great-grandparents. Henri was my grand-father and my father was Rudy (Rudolph Isadore).
I would love to have your documentation if possible. Also, Celina, Delia's sister and my grandmother, married to John (Jean Baptiste) Giroux claimed in at least two censuses that I could find that she was born in the U.S. and her father born in Scotland. I have been able to find some documentation of a Thomas Garrow (possibly Gareau) from Scotland. Do you have any info on that. Also, my grand-father Henri, also said to me that we did have some Scottish background...
Feel free to contact me.
