I am searching for information on my ggg-grandfather, Osiah Woods. He lived in Blount County, AL for some time. He was born in SC and married Eliza Johnson, also b in SC...the BLM shows them as owing land in Blount County, AL...abt 1844/42 they moved to Tennessee, then abt 1843/44 they moved to Mississippi then back to Alabama abt 1846 then to Searcy County, Arkansas abt 1859....Their children that I know of are: Marion (Richard Marion) Woods, b. Blount County, AL abt 1837...Matilda Woods b abt 1841, Blount County, AL...Elizabeth Woods b abt 1842 in Tennesee, Samuel Woods (my gg grandfather) b abt 1844 in Mississippi, Nicholas Woods, b. abt 1847 in Alabama...James Woods b. abt 1849 AL, Elijah and Elisha (Twins) b abt 1851 in AL, Eliza b abt 1854 in AL, Henrietta b. abt 1856 in AL, George b abt 1858 in AL, and Hannah b 1859 in Searcy County, AR......I am looking for any information on siblings or ancestors of Osiah Woods.......any information would be greatly appreciated.....Karen <calisterio@nidlink.com>
