I recently obtained a copy of my great grandmothers (Helena Gronska) naturalization petition, and her place of birth is listed as Stada, Shunce, Poland.

I can't figure out where this was! She was born 18 Feb 1897, and I did try looking at older maps....but there are A LOT of towns, and I don't even know what region this would have been in.

Any suggestions?!
