I am currently trying to find information on ROBERT CATHCART's parents...JAMES CATHCART and MARGARET CLARK, they married in Dublin, Ire. about 1768. They lived in Ireland and their son (I figure) went with a family named Thom to USA. Robert grew up there and married JANE THOM but there is no further meantion of James or Margaret CATHCART after Ireland. James (I figure) lineage is from Cathcart, Scotland, but I cannot find the connection.
