Hello,
Looking for obituary/biographical information on Rev. Samuel Strother, who died in Greenville, KY on 18 Apr 1891.

Born a slave b/t 1814-1821 in KY, escaped from slavery c. 1840, arrived in Cass county, Michigan and then settled in Battle Creek, Calhoun county, Michigan. Participant in the Underground Railroad there.

Returned to Kentucky around 1870 w/ spouse Lovisa [sp?] Ann Jackson Strother. Settled in Muhlenberg county. She apparently died 11 nov 1890.
