Hello----I'm looking for more information on my Great Great Grandfather, DAVID M. WOOD. DAVID was born in Kanawha County, Virginia in October of 1825, son of VALENTINE AND JANE PLEASANT THOMAS WOOD. DAVID married OLIVE LEAMING in Hamilton County, Indiana, April 2, 1850, adopting her 4 children by her first husband, JOHN HUNT,1819-1848.

DAVID M. AND OLIVE LEAMING HUNT WOOD had 6 children; HENRY 1851-1876, GENETTA (NETTIE) 1852-1872, JEREMIAH V.1855-1883, CLARK 1857-1876, LIZZIE 1858-AFT.1910, AND ELIZA 1861-1876.

Five of these children died as young adults in Taylor County, Iowa.

DAVID M. AND OLIVE moved to Council Grove, Kansas and then to Stillwater, Payne County, Oklahoma. OLIVE died in 1910 in Stillwater, Payne County, OK.

But, I don't know where or when DAVID died. He was on the 1900 Census of Payne County, Oklahoma, but not on the 1910 Census.
