Dear Hatfield Family,

Does anyone know for certain who represented the Hatfield family at the handshaking with the McCoy family? If it was this Joseph Tennis Hatfield or just Tennis Hatfield, does anyone know how the Tennis name connects to this tree? Was it his mother's maiden name? Is there a Hatfield Book explaining this?
