I am searching for the parents of my ggggrandmother Matilda Preston Wilcox m John Wilcox. The only record I have of her is in 1807, Western NY (Lockport) when their son William Caleb Preston Wilcox was born. They also had a son Abner b "near Albion" but I do not know his birthdate. I know there was a Caleb Preston with sons William and Abner (plus others) from Lichfield, Ct who moved to NY state but I do not find Matilda listed as one of his children. Do any of you have any Matilda with a possible date of birth or age that could be her.
