I am looking for any AA Mixon/Mixson who originated in the Black Belt region of Alabama. The families would've migrated from South Carolina during the early 1800's during slavery. My Mixon family originated with Alec/Alic/Aleck Mixon b. abt. 1830 and his wife Ellen. They resided in Autauga Co. AL in the 1870 census.
