Geoffery Proctor of Nether Bordley | William Proctor | John Nicholas Proctor | Planter John Graye Proctor

There are many posts and personal websites that have a lot of information on the above listed Proctors; however, there is also a very noticeable lack of documentation and supporting evidence of the information posted. My own personal site House of Proctor Genealogy was guilty of the same thing. (Special thanks to Les Proctor of Missouri, for bringing errors to my attention).

I welcome fellow Proctor researchers to step forward and start substantiating this interesting line of Proctors. I would appreciate valid information on each of them, particularly verifying the following:

1. William, son of Geoffrery and ? (Margaret or Katherine).
(a). Date of Birth. Many claim 1506. This doesn't seem possible. It seems he would have been born c.1480

2. John Nicholas Proctor b. circa 1559
(a). Verification of Middle Name.
(b). Parents ~ Many Claim son of William listed above, but that can't be. William died c. 1525.
(c). Wife name of Graye.
(d). Any other supported information on John Nicholas Proctor and family of 5 Sons John | Thomas | Anthony | Joshua | Ambrose

I am well aware of the book "A History of Northumberland" and the website "KirbyMalham". Both, very good resources.

I have cleared all of the unsupported connections on my website that I can find, and I have made caveats on questionable lines that I am still researching. I will post and update any new information I can substantiate as it becomes available. Any information anyone would like to share on House of Proctor Genealogy will be welcomed and proper credit will be presented with any data posted, with reciprocal links to personal websites if applicable.
