Does anyone have information on a connection between the JOYCE/JOICE family and the CLOONAN family in County Galway? My gg grandfather, Patrick Joyce, may have married a Cloonan. His wife's first name was Nancy. The marriage would have taken place around 1800 + or - a couple of years.

Also, if any of you are historians, can you tell me anything about migration from County Galway to southeastern Ireland (Carlow, Kilkenny, & Wexford) around or before 1800. It seems several of the same family names appear in there two areas on the opposite sides of Ireland.
