I am looking for the link between Mikotajow, Zloczow in Galacia to America, for a Robert Zeno Kaninsenski-my g-g grandfather.

According to a family biographer, "Robert's father (no name given)was a Polish insurgent and the revolution failed and he with many others in his family emigrated to the US" in 1849. Through several resources I have discovered "Robert's father" was Johann Koninzewsky, who was part of the November Insurrection of 1830.

I have found immigration records for Johann and his family but there is no "Robert" listed. I did find a "Robert Kaninsenski" immigrated in 1849 (Family Identification: 2808562; Microfilm Serial Number: M237; Microfilm Roll Number: 81 Ancestry.com,New York, 1820-1850 Passenger and Immigration Lists) but I don not have access to the manifest images to check for others in the family.

In short, I am trying the tie to Robert from Zloczow in Galicia to America along with his direct family members.

Konizeski is the current spelling but the variations are: Koninszeski, Kreuszinski, Konizeski, Kaninsenski.

Can anyone point me in a direction for the next phase of my search?

My thanks in advance.
