As some of you know, we began scanning photos of our ancestors at this year's reunion this past Labor Day. We are still looking for additional images.... we have photos associated with only a very small number of the ancestors that we have identified. If you have photos that you'd like us to scan, we will be scanning again at next year's board meeting, time and place to be announced here later. If you have scanning capability, you can send them as an attachment to an email to me,
charlieh@wt.net. If you send an image or images, please be sure to carefully document who is in the photo. We will only include photos of ancestors we can clearly identify. Don't worry too much about size of the image. But make all scans at least 300 dpi, and save the image as a high quality JPG image (usually 8, 9, or 10 in most software). Don't worry about color time on faded photos... if the scan is good enough we can correct for fading of off-tint B/W photos.
