Is anyone researching this family? John's background is a question and there is some confusion on his descendants. We know that in 1813 he sold a sawmill in Somerset County, PA and in 1815 he built a sawmill near Union in Montgomery County, OH. One son, Samuel Becker, changed his name to Baker and moved to Darke County, Ohio. Samuel Becker/Baker is my 3G grandfather.
