Greetings all:

I am hoping to find some of my cousins and other generations who are related to the Proctors, Newmans, Swanns all out of Maryland.

As I have learned, some of them moved to PA, some are in Virginia, but most all come from maryland and Charles County to be more specific.

I have been able to trace my great grand father back to James C. Proctor, husband to Mary J./Sarah J. Proctor. But the trail grows a bit cold.


On the other side I have a lot of Newmans' with my Grandmother being Rosetta Newman

For anyone who knows anything about these families you can understand the challenges in making headway as so many names and histories criss-cross.

So whatever information you all have would be wonderful.
