Does anyone have access to city directories or something similar for the Senath/Kennett area? I'm trying to find a GRAVES family that lived in the area from the late 1800's well into the 1940s and 1950s and seem to be striking out with census records so far. The only name I have is "Ab", which could be Abner, could be initials (like Archibald B) - I don't know. I do know they (Ab & a son-in-law) owned a Ford dealership (Graves Ford) in the late 40s and he had a large spread where he grew cotton (land records?). His wife was called Betty (Elizabeth?) and there were 4 known children - 2 boys & 2 girls?- which would have been born from the mid/late 20s into the 30s or later. Ab had a married sister who owned a motel/cabins-type resort in the Kennett area about that same time. I know I don't have much to go on but I'm really grasping at straws now. This is a back door on a major brick wall of mine to my gr-grandmother, who is Ab's aunt. Any guidance or assistance would be truly appreciated.
