Would like to communicate with anyone who has information on the early Glenns in Columbiana County. I'm trying to sort them out. The first Glenn I find in the census records is John Glenn. He is in the 1820 census. In 1830 there are Alexander in Madison Twp, John in Saline Twp and Robert in Columbiana County. John and Robert disappear by the 1850 census but Alexander remains with a wife, Tamar. How were they all related? John Glenn had three land patents in Columbiana County, one 18 July 1807, one 8 Sept 1810 and one 12 August 1813. For the first two, John's place of residence is Washington County PA. By the 1813 land patent he is living in Columbiana County. In the 1880 census, Alexander is still living and states that his father's place of birth was Pennsylvania. Any help on these Glenns would be appreciated.
