Mrs. Frank M. Church
Mrs. Lillie Adele Church, 91, widow of Frank M. Church, one time Albion grocer, died Saturday at 7:45 p.m. at the Murray rest home in Concord. She had been ill since suffering a hip fracture last Jan. 1, in her home at 914 North Clinton street, where she had resided for the past 64 years.
Mrs. Church was born March 30, 1860, in the South Albion community, being a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Broas, pioneer residents. She attended the Benham school and was a member of the First Baptist church. She was married to Frank M. Church March 11, 1880. He died Feb. 25, 1945.
Surviving her are a daughter, Mrs. Orma Murray, Albion; a brother, John W. Broas, Albion; a half sister, Mrs. Grace Broas Miller of Winnipeg, Man.; two half brothers, Ray Broas, Albion, and Earl Broas, Jackson; two grandsons, William M. Murray, Concord and Kenneth C. Murray, Northridge, Calif.; and cousins including Mrs. Carrie Ott of Albion.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at two p.m. at the King home for funerals, Dr. A. U. Russell officiating. Burial in Riverside cemetery.
