In June of 1978 Sybil McRay published two articles in The Times about the Martins from Pickens South Carolina coming to Hall County Georgia.
In the articles Ms. McRay expressed a great deal of uncertainty about the relationship of David Martin (Abt. 1798 - 1879), Absalom Martin (1772? - ????), Gideon Martin (1777? - 1840?) and Elizabeth Martin (1756? - Aft. 1840?).
Has anyone researching the Martins ever reconciled or prooved these relationships?
