I can't believe that no one else is looking into the New York Catholic Protectory located in Westchester County in 1880. Someone out there must be able to come up with some clues.
I have a picture of the facility and letters confirming that this was a working orphanage; knitting, weaving, etc. for the girls. The headcount in 1880 was well over 1500.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
