William and Juliet were born in the 1820's and appear to have lived around the Auburn,NY area. They had two sons that I know of,Hiram and George Akin. The latter married in Auburn and disappeared. Hiram appears to have moved from NY to Michigan,with his wife and mother, after the death of her husband and his father in NY. William was my great,great grandfather. Hiram and his wife and mother settled near Owosso. Sometime later, they appear to have moved to an area north of Lansing (Clinton County?).
