According to family records, Michael Higgins (abt. 1763 to Feb. 24, 1815) m. Jennet Bogle (d. Aug. 3, 1821). They had 4 children:

1. Jane HIGGINS August 4, 1793-May 29, 1865
married Allen STRAIN in Nov. of 1811

2: John HIGGINS, b. May 17, 1797; died as infant

3. Polly HIGGINS
February 18, 1800 to July 10, 1879
married John HENRY February 5, 1818

4. Joseph HIGGINS (Died as Child), 5G Uncle
November 29, 1802--August 31, 1813
