Alice was born January 04, 1783 in Guilford County and died March 30, 1829 in Oakridge, Guilford County.. I have found records stating that she is buried in Nelson-Brubank Cemetary, Guilford County.

James and Alice Nelson are the parents of Jane Caroline Nelson b. July 17, 1815, m. William Demarkus McGee November 03, 1831 in Oak Ridge, Guilford County.

I have family records stating that James Nelson fought in the war of 1812 and that he was the son of Alexander Nelson and Jane McQuiston.

Looking for documentation on the parents of James. Would also like to know if there were other children besides Jane Caroline.
