I am searching for information on relative Gabriel L. Page, of NC, enlisted in 18th Texas Calvary, supposedly captured at Arkansas Post (1863?), inprisoned Camp Douglas in ILL (?), released in prisoner exchange, and then rejoined another unit for battle of Chickamauga where he lost a leg due to gunshot. No information I have past the enlistment date is based on anything other than family stories. Help?
