While searching for the name of my Great-grandfather's first wife, I found the article of her suicide and that she had left behind a husband, three sons and a six week old baby. A few days later, the newspaper reported that a six week old baby was turned over to the state because the father could not care for her. I believe this baby, a girl, is the Morrison baby. If this baby survived into adulthood, I would love to share information with her descendants about her parents. I feel that I happened upon the answer to a mystery. My family was told, and believed that the mother jumped off a bridge with the baby, but that is not what happened. The mother died by other means. The baby girl would have been born in Saint Paul, MN around 12/15/1884, give or take a few days.
