The following notice appeared in the Tuesday, December 28, 1824 issue of the Rochester Telegraph (Monroe County, New York):

Married - In this village on Tuesday last by the Rev. Joseph (Penney?), Mr. William HARFORD to Miss Pamelia KNIFFIN, all of this place.

I am searching for information on the family of Pamelia KNIFFEN. Would very much appreciate hearing from anyone who has information on KNIFFEN families who lived in the Rochester area during this time.

William HARFORD was the son of Charles HARFORD, one of the first settlers of Rochester. I have quite a bit of information on this family, and would like to hear from others who are researching this line.
