I have a picture (attached) of my grandfather fishing with friends. A couple strangely written (typed?) captions are there, one mentioning that he (August William Stromberg) is an Alderman of the 3rd Ward. No date on the picture, but I recon it is the 1920s.
Try as I might, I cannot find any information on historical Mille Lacs Aldermen. Minnesota's state library's card catologe says nothing on the subject. No good links online. No information (other than the picture) of August Stromberg's minor political days remain in the family, so I have nowhere to go to learn more about this.
I know historic aldermen arent the most interesting pieces of history, but hey, I figure some Minnesota historians might some something? If anyone knows anything, or where to find out more about historic Minnesota aldermen, please let me know! I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
