Henry Hoblitzell was a son of Adrian Hoblitzell, living in Allegany Cty MD in early 1800s. The 1850 census shows Henry and his wife, Margaret Carleton Hoblitzell, living in Elizabethtown, Marshall Cty, VA (now WV) next door to Wills Dehass. The Dehasses and the Hoblitzells were closely connected. Wills wife, Amanda M., is probably the oldest daughter of Henry and Margaret. Looking for substantiation of that hypothesis or refutation. My family oral tradition says that Amanda M. Hoblitzell married Wills Dehass. They would be my g.g.g. grandparents. Also interested in Margaret Pierce Carleton, Henry's wife, and her ancestors.
