I am researching pretty far into my family line and I am now at the part where names make no sense and I have no clue who is male and who is female. Ha.

My great-great grandfather was named James John Streenstra and I found that his name was Tjibbe Jans Stienstra and changed when he came to America from Sweden. He married Lisbet Ketchu who was from Holland. James' parents were named Jan Tjeerds Stienstra who was born in 1830 in Vrouweenparochie, Friesland and Klaaske Oeges Adema who was born in 1829 in Menaldum, Friesland. Any information on Klaaske or Jan would be wonderful! I am also interested in learning more about Lisbet Ketchu.
