Hello, I am looking for information on a Patrick John Burns who was born either in Ireland or Nova Scotia, Canada in abt. 1841, and died in Butte, MT on 13 Aug 1891 (buried in St. Patricks Cemetery - Section A, Row 6). I'm trying to determine where exactly he was born, and whether or not other relatives (e.g. siblings, parents, etc.) of his were living in Butte around the same time. Here's what I know so far:

Patrick John Burns married Mary Murphy in Dutchess County New York sometime in the mid-1870s. They moved to the Park City, Utah area sometime around 1877 and then moved to Butte around 1880. They are listed on the 1880 Census as living in Walkerville. Patrick was a miner (suprise, suprise).

They had a total of 6 children that I know of:
Elizabeth A. Burns b. 1876 (New York) - d. 1937 (Butte) married to John J. McCrone
James H. Burns b. 1877 (New York) - d. 1890 (Butte)
Mary "Mamie" E. Burns b. 1878 (Utah) - d. 1917 (Butte) married to Fred W. Vogel
John Lawrence Burns b. 1881 (Butte) - d. 1914 (Butte) married to Nora Sullivan
Catherine Veronica Burns b. 1882 (Butte) - d. 1946 (Missoula) married first to Martin L. Hart then to Ernest N. Keller
Julia Burns b. 1887 (Butte) d. 1887 (Butte)

Any information on Patrick John Burns, especially his location of birth and/or his possible siblings, parents, etc would be greatly appreciated.
