For those of you who might have ancestors buried at Mt Gilead Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, it was almost totally destroyed in the recent tornadic damage. The church was destroyed. The cemetery is in terrible condition. Someone is working trying to help clean it up. My Grandfather, James Macon Cotton and his first wife Mary Jane Farrow are buried there with some of thier family. Billie Thrash at bthrash@elmore.rr.com sent me pictures and will let me know later about damage to the Cotton plot.
