I am searching out the Native American roots in this Bowen Line. I am daughter to Helen Juanita Bowen-Pollet. I have a photo of Silas and Francis with their four children. They look very dark and Native American in their awkward suits and dresses. My Aunts told me they had heard rumors that there were Indians in the family..but no more said. I get it that they did not talk about this. I do talk about it and try to find it out. It is important to me for far too many reasons to list here. Any info helping me to solve this family mystery would be forever precious.
Blue skies,
