Hoping someone can point me in the right direction as I keep going around in circles.
Familysearch has the death record for Jennie Beavis in Michigan on 12 Dec 1932. On her marriage in 1898 she had no idea who her parents were, and on each census until her death she didn't seem to know where they were born either (although she did put something down in 1930). Her age on public records also fluctuated more than most, with her year of birth anywhere from 1869-1875.
I'm therefore mystified as to how her death certificate suddenly includes both parents full names along with her place of birth (Anderdon, Ontario) and full date of birth - 17 Jun 1869 - although in keeping with the census this conflicts with her stated age at death of 58, which would put her birth as 1874!
If the death certificate details are correct then I can easily trace her back to Canada, but I'm reluctant to do so until I know who provided all of this information.
Her husband re-married the following year and his marriage certificate is online, but I cant seem to find copies of Death Certificates anywhere. Other than ordering the FHL film is there anywhere else I can access this ?
