Mrs. Sanford Widner

Mrs. Capitola Burlene, 49, of 1704 N. Rogers, died Friday afternoon in the Springfield Baptist Hospital after a lingering illness.
Mrs. Widner was a former resident of Cabool, and a niece of Mrs. Floyd Raney of Mtn. Grove, Elmo Lathrom and Mrs. Cleo Knaak of Cabool.
Surviving are her husband, three daughters, Miss Brenda Faye of the home, Miss Sharon K. and Mrs. Marie Simpson, both of Springfield; three brothers, Jerald Long, Malpitas, Calif., Robert Long, Racine, Wis., and Gordon Long of San Bernardino, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Loy Venieti, Salinas, Calif., Mrs. Dorothy Olser, San Bernardino, Calif., and Jackie Upton, Salt Lake City, Utah; and a host of relatives and friends.
Services were held Sunday, November 23, at the Church of God in Hartville, with the Rev. Ernest Hart officiating. Burial was in Little Creek Cemetery under direction of Barber-Edwards Funeral Home of Marshfield.
