My Paternal Grandmother had a sister called Beatrice who went to Canada in the early to mid 1900s to work as a nanny for a wealthy family. We know she married someone called Ralph Grimmon or Grimmont/d and had at least one son called Stirling named after Stirling Castle in Scotland. They had a farm when first married. She came to visit Britain in WW2 and told her sister they had a house in Scotland opened to wounded soldiers. They lost touch. Her sisters knew her as Beatrice Broome born around 1892 in Wakefield area. She had sisters Mary Ann, Elizabeth, Gertrude, Winefred, Rose and Lily. Her mother was Rose or Mary Sherratt.
Her Father may have been William Broome. I have pictures of her and Ralph Grimmon and their first home. Would love any information
