I am searching for ancestors of my 3rd GG, Francisco Pinto Da Silveira. According to the christening record for my 2nd GG, Francisco was born in Galicia. I don't have a birthdate, but I have to assume it would be between 1800 and 1820 given my 2nd GG's dob in 1838.

I've tried to research birth/baptism records in Spain, but have not come up with anything.

Also, Francisco moved to Portugal sometime between his birth and my 2nd GG's birth. His wife was Florinda Roza, and they lived in Porto, Porto, Portugal.

I should also mention that my 2nd GG had his name changed multiple times after immigrating (Silva to Silvey, to Salvey, and finally Selby). He died in 1906 as Louis P Selby. A Portuguese genealogy researcher advised me to look at the middle initial P and possible Silva variations. That is how I found my 2nd GG's name "Luis Pinto Da Silveira".
