My G grandmother Mary RONALD married Charles McGINN in 1881 Colmonell Ayr.
Mary was the daughter of Robert RONALD b.1830 Ochiltree and Agnes HAMILTON b 1829 Monkland. They married in Tarbolton in 1848. They had the following children; Claud 1859, Helen Hamilton 1852, Mary 1854 all at Monkland and Agnes 1856, Robert 1858 ( Tarbolton) Janet 1861, John 1862, James 1865 ( Kirkoswald) and William 1867 ( Girvan).
Agnes HAMILTON was the daughter of John Hamilton and Mary MCKENNA (McKINNIE)
Robert RONALD was the son of Claud RONALD and Mary JAMIESON. All their children were born in Stair, and Ochiltree

My Ronalds came to Australia in 1883.
