Mrs. Patrick Hoar

Mrs. Mary Hoar of 14 Cornell Avenue, a resident of Yonkers for 50 years, died Saturday morning at her home after a long illness. She was sixty seven.

Born in County Waterford, Ireland, May 20, 1871, a daughter of the late Patrick and Bridget Morrissey Boyle, she settled in Yonkers 50 years ago.

She was married to Patrick Hoar Sept. 14, 1898 at St. Joseph’s Church by the late Rev. Henry F. Xavier.

Surviving besides her husband are four sons, James, Joseph, Thomas and Francis, and two daughters, Miss Helen Hoar and Mrs. John H. Brady, all of Yonkers; a brother Maurice of Ireland; two sisters, Mrs. John Fitzgerald of this city and Miss Nora Boyle of Ireland, and seven grandchildren.

The funeral will be held tomorrow from the Home at 9:30 A.M. A solemn high mass of requiem will be celebrated at 10 A. M. at St. Denis Church and burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
