I am researching my great-grandmother Claire Jane Murphy, who died soon after my grandmother was born. My great grandfather (Albert Lonergan) quickly remarried, so not much is known about her except for what her marriage license says:

* She was born around 1902
* Her father was Edward Murphy and her mother was Jennie McAndrew
* She lived in Yonkers, NY for at least 6 years before her death
* Both parents were born in the U.S. (possibly Montana, according to what the 1930 US census says)

I have searched exhaustively but cannot find anything linking Claire to either of her parents, or either of her parents to each other. The Butte directories of 1885-1902 list a few Edward Murphys, but that is all.

Any help would be appreciated!
