I have these notes from an elderly man in TX. and when I finally found him he is ill and not able to help me.I'm trying to find out about a book and I'm told it is in the archives but not available for sale.He wrote Nathan Thompson m. Malinda Stone then "Early Times in Middle Tennessee"by John Carr published in 1857 Reprinted 1958 by Robt.H,Horsley & Associates. On page 41 it speaks of 5 Pres. preachers in this note John Thompson & Barton W, Stone are mentioned and also on page 43.Does anyone know anything about this Nathan or John Thompson or the John Thompson that was an interpreter for the Cherokee?
