I am conducting a single-name research project about the various GREENFIELD familes in and around Horsham, Sussex, from about 1700 onwards.

I have particularly concentrated on Horsham itself, and Slinfold (where my own family came from). Other villages in the area include Rudgwick, Warnham, Broadbridge Heath, Barns Green, Itchingfield and Rusper.

I already have a database of about 750 names, including details taken from births/christenings, marriages, deaths & census records. I would be happy to hear from anyone with, or wanting, information about these familes.
