Dear Friends,

I am trying to locate an ancestral home in Franklin County. One manuscript describes it as being:

"In the 30 acres on the west side of the NE 1/4, Sec. 29, on the left side of the road from Columbus to Groveport, west of Groveport. Many years ago it was described as two stories in front, with a sharply slanting roof in the back- New England style. The door casement was at least a foot thick"

My task is to try to locate this home. Can anyone help with a likely "road" between Columbus and Groveport, or even a more precise location of the home based on the "NE 1/4, Sec. 29" description? The home was presumably owned by Jeremiah Vandemark (d: 1823). I don't know how to proceed.
