Her obituary dated Dec. 12, 1998, reads: "Cora B. Boiter, Greer. Cora B. Leonard Boiter, 96,10 months and 10 days old, widow of Leonard "Doc" Boiter, of 3077 S. Hwy 101, died Dec. 10, 1998 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Cemter. A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Cornelius Boyd and Carrie Reynolds Leonard. She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of Sharon Unitedd Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, David Leonard Boiter Jr., of the home, daughters, Marie Boiter of the home and Nancy Boiter Roddy of Greer; grandchildren, Tim and Mary Boiter of Chesnee, Bruce Boiter of Spartanburg, Pam Swain of Wellford and Sandra Boiter of Taylors; and two great-grandchildren, Todd Swan and Michael Swain. The body will be at the home at 11 a.m. today. Services 3 p.m. will be held Sunday at Sharon United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Linda McNatt and Mrs. Henrietta Cox. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve Morrow, Kenneth Burdette, Jay Crawford, Steve Johnson, J. B. Waddell and Marvin Green. The body will be at the home and placed in the church at 2 p.m. today. Memorials: Sharon United Methodist Church, 3185 Hwy. 101 South, Greer, SC. 29651. - The Wood Mortuary."
