I am interested in finding someone who has or has access to
the book called the "MIDDLETON REPORT " which, from waht I understand, is all about the Civil War Veterans from Cass County, Indiana.
My gr gr grandfather, LEWIS T. DUGAN, enlisted in the Civil War from Logansport, Cass County, Indiana on 10-Aug-1862
and died while in the war on 09-May-1863. Lewis left a wife and three children in Logansport when he died. We, his descendants, have never found exactly where Lewis Dugan was buried and this book, the Middleton Report, is supposed to have that information.
I am also interested in locating an obituary for Lewis T. Dugan from an area newspaper which would have been printing in May of 1863. Does anyone know the names such newspapers. I appreciate any help anyone can offer.
